Join us for a week long sled dog autumn training and Lapland nature experience! From 15th of August til mid-November we have an amazing package available: One week (8 days/7 nights) at our Husky Village shared cottages at the Sleddogcenter, surrounded by our friendly furry friends. You will be staying close to the kennels, right in the middle of action, in our modern cabins, sharing the 6 person spacious cabins with like minded dog and nature enthusiasts. You’ll be enjoying your included breakfast, lunch and dinner at our Kota building, and watching the early autumn night fall by a campfire.
Pretty much everything is included, just bring yourself, outdoor clothing and an adventurous attitude:
- Full board (excl. drinks and alcohol)
- Free rental of mountain bikes, canoes, rowing-boat and fishing rods
- Most importantly you get to join us for the training of our sled dogs for the coming season with cart, ATV or kick bike. Learn about the dogs, their care and how sled dogs are trained. You can get as hands-on as you like, we are happy to share all the secrets of the trade with you. It’s up to you how much you want to be involved with the dog activities. If you’d prefer, you can also simply just kick back and enjoy the nature
- Experience some of the best hiking trails in Finland in the surrounding Pallas-Ylläs National Park, go berry and mushroom picking, bird watching, reindeer spotting – the lot. Lapland’s flaming autumn foliage is also always a sight to be seen and great pictures are guaranteed.
